For those of you who have been with the Magical Medicinal Hotpot from the beginning, K’charee Kitch’n was the first little store on Grange Rd.
Local organic vegetables, spices, Ayurveda and amazing conversations were shared around the Dals made from home… A council approved kitchen.
Variety was key and the medicinal recipes just flowed into the pot with names that made us smile. “The Next Level” named by customers and still a favourite. Organic local sweet potato and pumpkin bathing in local curry leaves and coconut.
Darlin’ Dal was born when the old Chinese shop two doors up came up for rent. We still gathered and interesting discourse was still part of the brand Darlin’Dal.
A TRUST was formed when two other people joined the business moving forward. COVID-19 came and they both jumped ship leaving me with $30,000 collateral paid for the kitchen and equipment.
A COMPANY was then formed to find investors to grow the business and help with the debt. An angel (business adviser) came who guided me through the steps and finally a decision was made. Darlin’ Dal is about service, nourishment, community and spiritual growth.
A SOUL TRADER Darlin Dal became and slowly bowl by bowl pays off the debt.
