There was so much wisdom shared in the Darlin’ Dal store. From the Dinacharya hand drawn on the wall (below left) to so many workshops with Dr Kumar (RIP), Dr Bosco, Dr Adriana and lifestyle consultants now called practitioners (below right). Ayurveda found me just after I finished nursing at RAH 1985 and it hasn’t left me.
Vedanta and the Bhagavad Gita is in every cell of my daily being now and I look forward to sharing more with you very soon.

The Mandukya Upanishad, verse 7, offers this description…
“That which is neither conscious nor unconscious, which is invisible, impalpable, indefinable, unthinkable, unnameable, whose very essence consists of the experience of its own self, which absorbs all diversity, is tranquil and benign, without a second, which is what they call the fourth state – that is the atman. This it is which should be known.” – Vedic Experience, p. 723
The fourth or ever-wakeful state is the yogic state of samadhi or unity consciousness.
Spell Guru for me… G U R U
Who am I was a question I asked very early in life.
What is this all about?
Why am I here, what is here?
Not blessed with societal beauty, bullied at school and happiest with my guitar writing poetry into songs, or on stage performing the lead roles in our school musicals.
The search began and hasn’t stopped, always with creativity, reading, study and reflection.
My Mum gifted to me a book after a trip she went on, she thought it may help my questioning. I was in year 12, still in Queensland in 1984. Year 6 I was pulled out of my friends group Grange Primary, South Australia to move to Queensland. Year 12, halfway through I was pulled out of my friends group at Corinda State High, Queensland to finish Year 12 at Seaton High, South Australia.
My Father was an amazing man and took life on as an entrepreneur that got bored very easily. We would have lots of money and adventures, then have none and a car that would just start.
The book gifted was Louise Hay “You Can Heal Your Life.” She became my first teacher.
The mind and your thoughts do have an effect on your healing. I wagged most of year 12 muddled and befuddled, again told I was going to have a trade, a nurse. Group 853,1985 RAH.
An inner journey (remember we only had books growing up, no internet) has been my life and the teachers that followed (Ayurveda found me around 1989) Vasant Lad, David Frawley, Gary Zukav, Carolyn Myss, Ram Dass, Dr Wayne Dwyer, Iyanla Vanzant and finally The Bhagava Gita resides in me.
My daily early morning study continues with Dr David Frawley, Dr Robert Svoboda, Dr Vasant Lad and Avula Parthasarathy (Swamiji).
Inner exerience is you best teacher.
Look forward to meeting you, forever grateful
